Telepathy is the ability to send or receive thoughts and feelings over a distance. This is a form of communication which happens directly between two minds without the use of any of the five standards senses. It’s also an ability which every person has the capacity for.

Whether you know it or not, you’ve already experienced telepathic communication. For example, when you start thinking of someone and you receive a call or letter from them right afterwards.

This wasn’t a coincidence. What happened is that you or the other person initiated some sort of telepathic contact and there was an exchange of thoughts or feelings which one of you sent and the other received.

This person was already meaning to get in touch and the telepathic link gave you a notice that they were thinking of you and that they were going to contact you. Despite being very common, most people are doubtful of the existence of telepathy or that learning telepathy is something which they can do. Others are reserving judgment, doubting telepathy unless and until it is scientifically proven and accepted as fact.

There are also those who while not skeptical about the idea of telepathy are unconvinced of the value of telepathic communication. We have the power of speech; the reasoning goes, so why would we need this ability? Since it is not something which is generally considered important enough to encourage its development in children, why should one learn to use this natural human ability? The fact is that telepathy is just as useful of a means of communication as are written and spoken language, but it has simply not been made a part of our culture in the way that language has; which does not mean that it is not worth learning.

Spoken language and telepathy fit together to make a whole. Neither can communicate the entire range of human experience and emotional states by themselves, but when you know how to use both, you can enhance your interpersonal relationships and live a richer life.

Developing your telepathic communication abilities has a number of benefits. It is literally learning a sixth sense and lets you communicate in a more direct and intimate way with those around you. While it’s not hard to learn telepathy per se, it does take practice like acquiring any new skill.

The best way to learn telepathy is by practicing with a partner. Ideally, this would be a close friend who you have known for a long time and who is as interested in you as learning telepathy. Ninety percent of our brains are unused by humans. What that part of the brain is for remains undiscovered. The remaining ten percent is used to function in daily life.

Here is a quick method to practice your telepathic communication using two people.

*Sender and Receiver - Decide which of you will be the message sender and which will be the receiver. For the purpose of this example, we’ll assume you are the sender.

Since you are the sender your friend the receiver needs to have a pen and paper handy and be prepared to write down what comes into their mind. The receiver may feel silly at first so remember to stress how important it is to write everything down regardless of how trivial it may seem.

*Visualization - The person sending should pre-arrange some clear, simple images that are easy to pick up. Choose items that most people know easily, like red apples, yellow bananas or a white moon. These are concise simple images to project and maintain your focus.

*Transmitting Your Message - Close your eyes and focus on establishing a communication thought-tube between you and the receiver. Picture it clearly in your mind’s-eye as connecting the two of you.

Get a clear picture of your image and send it down the line. Imagine a clear, bright picture of it racing or flowing to your receiver. Stay focused on the object until you see it reach the receiver.

The act of visualization is a powerful tool in allowing your mind to focus on getting your message across.

*End message - Stop sending when you have seen the object reach the receiver. Stop thinking about it, this is an important step as it lets the receiver see the image appear. He or she will also have time to write it all down

*Receiver - The receiver should relax and remain as calm as possible. With an open mind and a willingness to receive images and impressions, the receiver should write down any impressions that come to mind.

We all see have things flowing through or mind when we relax and are receptive to it. A receiver should write anything down that he or she sees, even if it is believed to be a random thought.

*Results - When your telepathic training session is complete, compare notes of what images were sent and what images were received.
