How Marketing Executive Recruiters Improve Your Business

Thursday, September 16th, 2010

Those that may not have heard of the moniker “marketing executive recruiter” are assuredly familiar with the term “head hunter.” The two are, essentially, one in the same. A marketing executive recruiter is generally someone that is hired to locate marketing professionals for executive level positions. It is their prime business to connect top marketing professionals with those companies in dire need of their expertise.

So, what does that have to do with your company? You may be thinking that you are smart enough to hire your own employees, but think of the time it takes to bring candidates in for interviews, weed out the ones that are clearly not a right fit for the job, and then determine on someone who will hopefully fit into your fast paced office environment.

You have your own job to do! Why would you want to waste hours placing job ads, screening resumes, and then interviewing one candidate after the other. What makes this process so time consuming is the number of people who don’t have the qualifications for your executive level positions but who want to apply anyway. You have to sort them out before you can find the professionals who are worth your time interviewing.

Even if you can delegate these time-consuming tasks to an assistant or someone else on staff, your office is wasting valuable time searching out the right marketing professionals.

Would it not be best to let another talented pro to handle such tasks for you?

So, what is it exactly that you are doing when you hire a marketing executive recruiter? Namely, you will be delegating the candidate search duties to an individual with proper expertise in finding marketing pros. Yes, it can be overwhelmingly difficult to scour through the unqualified applicants at times. A skilled head hunter will already possess the proper contacts with top professionals in the industry. If they cannot find the right person among their contacts, they do understand the steps of how to bring them in.

When you hire an experienced marketing executive recruiter, you will discover you have more qualified applicants than you would have been able to find on your own. You will also be able to hire such personnel in a much shorter period of time. That certainly can help your business a great deal since you would not be weighted down by the traditional process of advertising through traditional channels. And, by the way, traditional channels are not always the best resource for hiring the best people.

Consider this scenario for a second: you take out an advertisement in the local paper to promote your executive marketing position. To your chagrin, you discover not many people are actually reading the papers these days. Certainly, this will not aid your ability to hire the right candidates to fill executive level positions in marketing.

You could list your job on an online job board, but they are so cluttered and mixed up that most job searchers get frustrated and quit looking before they come across all of the available opportunities.

Your best bet is to hire a recruiter who has connections in the industry and can find your ideal candidate plus many more. You will end up with a wider selection of professionals to select from and won’t have to waste all of your time or that of your assistant posting ads, weeding out unqualified candidates and interviewing the wrong people.

When you perform interviews, you need to select the right personnel. You would be best served working with a professional marketing executive that truly knows exactly what they are doing. This is the way your business will get ahead without losing any valuable resources. You need to hire a marketing recruiter. That is the best way to go about the process.

The New Age Of Cosmetic Dentistry

Saturday, September 11th, 2010

Decades ago all forms of dentistry centered around treatment rather than prevention. In the 1960s new toothpastes came out that focused on prevention for cavities, and dentistry was brought into a new era. Suddenly our teeth were something to be proud of, not problems to be dealt with. Today in the 21st century we have gone even further - cosmetic dentistry is one of the fastest growing industries anywhere.

Not everyone is born with a beautiful smile. Teenagers grow out of proportion to their mouths and teeth become misplaced, crooked, or even impacted. Although orthodontics and braces play a pivotal role in getting things back to normal, braces can’t handle everything. There are many other issues at stake that can solve problems sometimes more difficult.

One of the first major improvements in finding the perfect smile was bonding. This was very simple, very affordable, and the first add on service a regular dentist could offer that patients would pay for out of pocket since insurance companies saw no reason as yet to cover the cost. The process was painless and could fix many problems from an irregular smile to a large gap in the front teeth. It was also successful in repairing cracks and chipped teeth.

Bonding also took the place of caps. Earlier caps were used by the wealthy when they wanted to improve their smiles. Some of the earlier movie stars such as Marilyn Monroe were almost forced by their studios to have their entire mouthful of teeth replaced with caps. Beautiful maybe, but super expensive and very invasive.

This replaced the use of unnecessary caps. Caps have always had their place in treatment plans, but people with money, including movie stars, chose to have all their teeth capped - and this meant having perfectly good teeth filed down needlessly, ruining them. If anything happened to the cap, they would have a serious problem - and this happened all the time. Caps would fall off, infection would set it, and they would crack and discolor.

The next major advance was implants. Finally patients with missing teeth had an option that didn’t involve dentures or bridges which meant healthy teeth would need to be filed down in order to have the bridge or denture attach to it. Although the implants themselves haven’t changed much over the years, the process has been changed from a three visit to a one visit in many cases. Even some insurance companies will pick up a good part of the costs which can run over $1,000 per tooth.

Veneers Toronto came next. Veneers are a bit different in that they don’t repair anything, they simply hide the problems. They are fairly expensive for each tooth but they are painless to put on and a brand new smile can be achieved in less than a few hours. There is very little prep work other than some simple filing on the surface of the original teeth needed for the new veneer to adhere to.

Veneers are another boon to the Orthodontics Toronto industry. Veneers are simply placed over the front of an original tooth without damaging the tooth itself. These are most commonly used for front teeth, and at a considerable cost for each one, many patients are happy to replace only their front teeth and still see a major improvement.

Don’t let your teeth suffer the same fear as you. Fear of dental treatemnt can be overcome with the use of sedation dentistry. Consult your local Toronto Dentist about a Sedation dentist.

Finding Reputable Local Pet Stores

Thursday, September 9th, 2010

Years ago every town, big and small, had a pet store. It was owned by a neighbor most probably and its main purpose was to actually sell pets. Dogs, cats, birds, gold fish and hamsters usually. These pet stores were known for honesty and taking care of the pets for sale. Customers would come in if for no other reason than to chat with the owners, play with the puppies and maybe pick up some dog food.

Today, pet stores have changed dramatically. Most are owned by large national chains and provide few pets other than lizards, birds, fish and the occasional seasonal bunny rabbit. A few have teamed with various rescue organizations and local humane shelters and have regular adoption days for cats and sometimes for dogs as well.

There are, however, some pet stores that specialize in selling puppies - although a far cry from what we found decades ago. These are usually what are referred to as puppy mills - retailers that breed dogs to death in order to make money. Puppies are sick, not cared for, and are provided with minimal food and water in the hopes they survive long enough to be sold. Most of these stores are fined heavily after a few consumer complaints and are eventually put out of business.

Modern pet stores tend to be large and even welcome pets! Bring Fido on a leash and he can hang out with others who have come in with their owners for the weekly supplies and maybe a new doggie bone or chew stick.

Some chains have teamed up with veterinary hospitals so that it’s truly one stop shopping. Bring in your dog or cat (or iguana!) and while you pick up some food and maybe a few new toys, you can also stop by the vet’s office for annual checkups, rabies shots, or other issues that tend to surface.

These stores are managed and staffed by animal experts. One chain demands that all staff members have at least a certificate in animal sciences. This type of knowledge is wonderful when it comes time to needing help with a new food or even to get some basic questions answered on house breaking, what type of leash to buy, how to clip nails, or even how to stop a cat from spraying. Their knowledge and information comes in handy for new and experienced pet owners who otherwise might have no other option but to schedule a vet visit just to get some simple answers.

Puppies Toronto have learned that they need to carry what is considered “supermarket brands” of pet food along with the higher end specialty brands. In a bad economy pet owners have to find a way to cut back, too, and this usually means buying cheaper pet food. When this started to happen pet stores felt the pressure to provide additional lower cost items for their customers.

Make sure you sign up for a customer reward card at puppies Mississauga! You’ll have access to great coupons and private sales.

Having pets and animals are wonderful for adding enjoyment to our lives, so be sure to have pet supplies ready to meet their needs. Puppies, kittens, birds and more can be found at pet stores Toronto or at pet supplies Toronto.

How To Successfully And Efficiently Remove Waste From Your Company

Tuesday, September 7th, 2010

The greatest enemy of the management of your company is waste. Waste can take many forms and come in all shapes and sizes. Debris that can be found in almost any business, no matter how big or small. The aim is to keep looking and improving every time the opportunity arises. You can not be happy with good enough and must always be ready to seek new ideas and new thought processes.

That is why it is so important to get everyone involved in the process. Every person within the company can have an idea or thought that nobody else has thought of. When you get ideas from different angles and from different perspectives, you have a better chance of finding a solution that might not have been considered in the past.

For example, if you have a problem that needs to be solved, and you give four different people the opportunity to try and solve the problem, most likely you will get four different solutions. But if you take those four people and put them on a team to look at the problem and find a solution for it, you get the best ideas of everyone combined and a completely different solution. Having a team to tackle any problem can often result in different solutions because of the differing viewpoints and perspectives.

It is also important that the people of his team from different parts of the process. If you are looking to improve a manufacturing process, then you need to get in shape team members from different parts of the process. Team members need to upstream, which are those that are directly affected and members of the downstream equipment, which are those that directly affect them.

This way, every point of view during the process is represented. You also need different members to come from different areas of the management pool. You need upper management to be involved, middle management and people from the floor to be involved.

The idea behind this is to get new prospects for the entire spectrum of the process. When you get everyone involved, you are more likely to have different ideas and points of view. In addition, by getting more people involved, it gives them greater ownership of the decision process and are more likely to accept any changes they participate in the decision.

When facing business concerns, six sigma can help you work them out. 6 sigma certification can greatly increase your problem solving skills, log onto mbajournal.org today and learn more.

Self Defense With High Voltage Stun Guns

Monday, September 6th, 2010

I knew on day one that working for a women rights attorney was never going to be a peaceful job. When she tackled a series of high-profile cases, we in her tiny team simply went from busy to overwhelmed.

We agreed amongst ourselves to sift through the internet for how to ensure self defense for women. The consensus was that high voltage stun guns would require less shots to incapacitate an aggressor, thus compromising our safety for a shorter time.

The Stun Master Multi-Function Stun Gun in 2.7 million volts caught our attention right away. This hardworking weapon is rechargeable. It is outfitted with a 110 dB personal alarm, blindingly bright LED flashlight and red flashing lights.

Applying the newest micro-technology, Runt Stun Guns in 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5 million volts are only 3.5 inches in height. Some of the strongest high voltage stun guns, they are sized strategically for the female grip.

For something that unleashed 4.5 million volts of stopping force, the Pretender Cell Phone Stun Gun sure looked cute in its believable camera phone casing. Among the most unassailable high voltage stun guns, it has an integrated 12-LED flashlight.

A cumulative 1.2 million volts emanated from stun tips spaced 5 inches apart in the Double Trouble Stun Gun, instead of the usual 1.5 inches. It is great for disabling bigger bullies using twice as much stun power.

The final decision was to procure each of the high voltage stun guns we believed were the most purposeful. After every staff member tried a different type, we would exchange notes on how each provided effective defense for women.

Our boss accepted a celebrity client and our vulnerability surged tenfold. Between you and me, I intimated to the allegedly battered America’s sweetheart that stun weapons could be her new bodyguard.

Willem A Chicoine is among the leading experts on non-lethal self defense products. There are several options, including high voltage stun guns, pepper sprays and personal alarms. He provides full support and instruction on how to use the products.

Executive Recruitment Firms: The Benefits Of Hiring Them

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

Human resource is the most valuable asset in any company. Even with the best level of technology available, a company is only as good as its employees. The quality of employees in management is even more critical since these are the persons tasked with making direction-changing decisions within the organization. It is therefore imperative that organizations recruit the highest caliber of candidates for executive positions.

However, there are executive recruitment firms, which can be a great source for finding top-notch executives that are highly qualified. Although, using a firm like that to find high quality executives can be expensive, but the quality of the individual that you will get will far outweigh any price you may have to pay the firm. Most executive firms that are out there will usually specialize in a few specific areas of industry or professions. Therefore, companies such as this will know exactly what you are looking for in management personnel.

Executive recruitment firms can do what human resources managers may be wary or uneasy doing. This includes directly approaching candidates working with the competition to find out how responsive they may be to a new career opportunity. Because they are always on the ground looking for new candidates, executive recruitment firms have a rich database of contacts, people profiles and can embark on search and selection at the drop of a hat.

They know exactly who has the skills and experience that an organization will be looking for to fill a high-level executive management position. If a company is searching for such personnel but has a set and in place salary scale, an executive recruitment firm can match the money, you are offering with executive personnel who will find the pay to his or her liking.

Executive recruitment firms also have the added advantage of bringing confidentiality to the situation. Organizations typically do not wish to be seen approaching executive personnel from a rival company and offering them a job. This will bring only a boatload of unwanted attention and even embarrassment if the potential candidate from the other company rejects the offer. Therefore, the executive recruitment helps both parties out by acting as a middleman. They also help avoid any friction that can occur during such negotiations keeping possibilities open for the future.

Hiring a recruitment firm to fill all positions in your company beginning at entry level all the way to the top can prove to be expensive and probably unnecessary. However, when it comes to executive positions, a recruitment firm brings a rich set of skills and experience that can only serve to deliver better candidates for the job.
