Better Time Management And Losing Weight Naturally

Monday, August 16th, 2010

People are often running around saying there’s not enough time in the day. And if you’re trying to lose weight naturally, then it can seem even harder to fit all that’s needed to lose weight, like planning, exercising, etc, into your schedule, as well. And when it seems like there’s not enough time to get things done, it can lead to a feeling of stress, which can affect the immune system, make it challenging to lose weight due to the urge to overeat, cause pain in the body, and can lead to other unhealthy habits and health conditions.

That being said, it’s important to do what we can to eliminate and avoid stress in our lives so it doesn’t impact us in an unhealthy way, and one way to do that is better time management.

Use a calendar. Using the good old calendar can do wonders for better time management to reduce stress. A calendar can help you stay organized so things don’t fall through the cracks. You can include your exercise and diet plans, as well, when looking at your natural weight loss program, so another advantage is it’s a great way to stay focused to achieve your goals. You should look at your calendar every morning and evening so you know what’s going on for that day, the next day, and the week!

Plan and prioritize. Know what your priorities are so you can be certain what needs to get done today and what can wait until tomorrow.

Be mindful of time. Wear a watch or have a phone handy that allows you to be aware of the time so you can stay schedule. Also, be mindful of the length of meetings and appointments so you’re respectful of both your time and others. This will help you avoid running late, or over, because when this happens, stress often creeps in.

Organization. By being organized, you’ll be able to find things faster and won’t stress by searching for whatever it is you’re looking for. Your organization style may be unique to you, but whatever it is, do it. Something as simple as making daily lists can be a huge help in managing time and reducing stress. Just make the checklist short each day, three things that must be done.

Don’t overextend yourself. This is important– It’s OK to say ‘no’! Whether it is to a friend, a coworker, your boss, or a family member, if you don’t have the time to do something because your calendar is already full, then it’s OK to say no. Remember, when you say ‘yes’ to something, you’re saying ‘no’ to something else, because you only have so many hours in a day. A sure way to create undue stress is by overextending yourself and putting yourself into a position where you don’t have enough time to get it all done. Take care of yourself. What doesn’t get done today will still be there tomorrow.

Keeping unhealthy stress to a minimum, or avoiding all together, is critical to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Having good time management skills is very helpful in doing this, and in turn, you’ll be better able to manage your life and your natural weight loss goals.

Natural Weight Loss at Home

Monday, March 30th, 2009

Natural weight loss means lowering your daily calorific intake while increasing the amount of calories you burn through exercise. You would think that would immediately put all those specialist diet companies and the whole industry out of business but that is not the case as over a third of Americans are overweight. Why is it then that vast numbers of overweight people want to lose that weight, is it to look good again or could it be about improving their health?

The truth is it is easier to maintain your weight than it is to lose excess pounds and the heavier you become the harder the weight loss becomes. This is something that all of us know deep down, that if we do not watch what we eat and how much we exercise, then we are doomed to an overweight future.

For some reason even when dieters who have become used to, and enjoy, a low calorie diet, they eventually drift back to old habits and start piling the pounds back on again. You can maintain your weight through natural weight loss methods mentioned in the fat loss 4 idiots review and even if being at the centre of unwanted attention doesn’t convince you, surely your health should.

Most health experts contend that the significance of excess weight is more than cosmetic as it takes a huge toll on a person’s physical health. Losing weight by natural means isn’t a big secret and deep down most of us understand the principles behind it.

According to fat loss 4 idiots review natural weight loss requires a balanced approach which means a diet that contains quantities of complex carbohydrates, fiber, reduced fat and not too much protein. If you were looking at a meal then this would be a baked potato (carbohydrate), the vegetables would be the fiber and a little meat, is the protein.

Health experts say that dietary fat promotes weight gain because it is a very dense source of calories and you store those calories as body fat easier than calories from other sources. Don’t fall into the fat-free trap where manufacturers keep coming out with low-fat or fat-free versions of their best-selling foods despite the fact that Americans are getting fatter anyway.

When I read fat loss 4 idiots review it stated that what people fail to understand is that it isn’t just fat in their food that is making them put on weight, it is the quantity of food they consume and the calorific content of it. Weight control methods ensure you avoid the fat-free products but suggest you eat healthy and nutritious snacks if you are hungry.

It is believed in some circles that a natural method of weight loss is to eat less but more often without actually missing meals, which can get you into bad habits. When combined with regular exercise, this natural weight loss plan offers a way to lose unwanted pounds in the long run.

The Key Fat Burning Exercises For Men Circuit Training

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

Some guys just don’t want to go on a diet to lose weight so they’ll rely on fat burning routines to expend more calories than they eat. If you have the stamina and metabolism for that kind of routine, then you’ll need a combination workout routine to keep you fit and trim. The trick is to burn more than you consume.

If your goal is to show your six pack abs and you’re 60 pounds overweight, you’ve got some work to do. Working your abs is important, but you’ll see the best results by doing a combination of cardio and strength training for the rest of your body. The goal of burning fat must include circuit training; it will help you work your entire body and build endurance.

Getting flat abs or six-pack abs is about more than just ab exercises. You have to work your body with cardio and strength training, all while eating a healthy low-calorie diet.

You don’t have to do all your cardio at once. You can get the weight loss benefits from cardio even if you do a few short workouts throughout the day. When you are working for fat loss, you will need to keep your cardios to around 30 minutes and at varying intensities. You’ll want to rev up your metabolism so focus on strength training.

Cardiovascular fitness Cardiovascular fitness is all about the ability of your heart, lungs and organs to consume transport and utilize oxygen. The maximum volume of oxygen your body can consume and use is your VO2 Max. You should refrain from the low intensity long drawn out cardio works when looking to build a fat burning system.

You should increase your cardiovascular fitness as your heart becomes more efficient at pumping blood and oxygen to the body. As a middle age man, you’ll want to wear a heart monitor and keep to the proper zones for best results. Your body will become more efficient at using that oxygen as you progress in the workout routine.

Strength training Circuit training is a great way to combine cardio and strength if you’re short on time. This workout has two circuits, each with six strength/cardio exercises that are completed one right after the other, with little or no rest in between.

Do each exercise for the specified amount of time (or as long as you can safely do so) and then move on to the next exercise. I use a boxing timer to work out at two minutes or three minutes with a rest period of 30 seconds or 60 seconds.

Once you’ve completed all of your exercises, that’s considered one circuit. Be sure you warm up with 5-10 minutes of light cardio and cool down with a complete stretch. Be careful and consistent with your progress. Don’t push it. If you are over 40, you will need to pace yourself and take it in phases. Fat burning workouts don’t have to be grueling; you can focus on building muscle to keep the fat burning furnace going.

Getting back into shape is not easy for men over 40 but you can do it. The health benefits alone are worth the effort. Your love life as well as your self esteem will dramatically improve when you are at your personal best

Best Fat Burning Workout For Busy People

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

What is the best fat burning workout?

It depends on how much time you have to workout and the kind of fitness equipment you have lying around. But you can do a massive fat burning workout routine even without massive exercise machines. In fact, you can a great calorie busting workout at home in your own spare time.

Here is my suggestion for a tremendous fat blasting workout for busy people:

Minute 1: Warm up by doing jumping jacks. This should get the heart pumping and all the muscles nice and loose.

Minute 2: Squats - An excellent calorie burning exercise which works mainly the legs but also the butt, thighs, and abs. If you can handle it, carry some dumbbells in each hand to make it more strenuous.

Minute 3: Push-ups - If you can do 50 of these then my hat’s off to you. If not, do as many as you can. Great for the upper body and arms.

Minute 4: Jumping rope - If you can do this for 2 minutes go ahead. It’s an excellent cardio workout which burns a lot of fat and also works the arms and shoulders.

Minute 5: Stability ball jackknifes - If your abs aren’t strong enough yet, do regular stability ball ab crunches instead. This is a difficult exercise and I don’t want you to overstress yourself at first.

Minute 6: Lunges - Similarly to the squat, this exercise works mainly the legs but because it’s so intensive, it burns fat from all over your body in the process. You can use dumbbells to make this more intensive if you feel like it.

Minute 7: Either do alternate stair jumps (one foot on the stair and one on the floor and switch) or jump rope again. Both of these are excellent cardio workouts to burn off calories and flab.

Minute 8: Close-Grip push-ups - This version of the push-up works the tricep muscles better than the regular version and so you’ll be able to really tone the back of the arm area.

Minute 9: Pull ups - Great exercise for the back and also works the arms and the abs.

Minute 10: Jump rope again and if you have strength left, do some more squats to wrap things up.

Don’t forget to stretch afterward to make sure your muscles are loose. There you go. In 10 minutes you had a massive fat burning workout.

3 Belly Fat Burning Cardio Workouts

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

Belly fat burning cardio workouts come in many shapes and forms. You don’t have to go to the gym, use the elliptical machine or climb on a treadmill to burn stomach fat. In fact, there are a number of cardio workouts you can do in the comfort of your home which can help you shed a lot of belly flab. In this article you will learn about 3.

1. Jumping rope - An old classic and one of my favorite home workouts. What is simpler than jumping rope, right? Well, this children’s game can also be a massive cardio workout. Jumping for even 5 minutes can lead to a tremendous fat burn. Also, jumping rope works the arms, legs, shoulders and even the abs as a stabilizing muscle, so you also get an abs toning effect while doing it.

2. Interchanging Step-ups on a stair - You just need one stair to do this or buy an aerobic step for close to nothing. Then, you just rotate your feet by jumping. One leg is on the ground while the other is on the step. Do it fast and you will quickly develop a nice sweat. If you perform this exercise quickly you will develop a good sweat within minutes. It’s an even better belly fat burning workout if you hold a dumbbell in each hand. It makes it more intensive.

3. Punching bag - You may be surprised that using a punching bag can be a cardio workout but throwing punches at a bag while shuffling your feet like a boxer is an excellent full body workout. It’s also one of the least boring workouts there is because you can pretend you’re actually fighting. By the way, women also benefit a lot from this exercise. All you need is to plant a hook in your ceiling so you can hang the bag on it whenever you need to do a workout.

Use these 3 fat burning exercises to lose stomach fat and get flat abs.

Most Effective Fat Burning Workouts to Get Rid of Belly Fat

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

The best fat burning workouts if you want to get rid of the nasty belly fat that’s been bugging you for years is a workout that consists of moves that involve all the major muscle groups in the body.

Forget about concentration moves and forget about doing a million repetitions also. While we are in the subject of doing a million repetitions, forget about the “common sense” advice that tells you: “do more cardio”. That is the surest way to guarantee that you are doing an ineffective fat burning workout.

So what exactly are moves that involve all the major muscle groups? These are exercises that include squats, lunges, chin ups or pull ups. Push ups or Chest Presses. What these all have in common is that your body needs to engage more muscle groups to perform these properly, by recruiting more muscle fibers you get a higher energy demand, therefore burning more calories. By increasing muscle activity and therefore, muscle production, you will in turn elevate your metabolic rate which means that you will be spending higher number of calories during the day and in turn burning more fat.

If you just joined a gym and one of the trainers that are in staff gives you a training program with exercises like barbell curls, calf raises, leg curls and crunches, just to name a few, my advice is to run away fast!

Don’t get me wrong, barbell curls and calf raises and whatever other isolation exercises have a time and a place, but it sure is not in a fat burning workout because they only work a very small muscle group at a time. Once you advance in your fat burning workout and have made some progress then you start adding other types of exercises. You should never do the same workout for more than 4 to 5 weeks because your body will get use to the demand that you are putting to it and it will adapt and you will hit a plateau. Always change your workout and always, always, always try to improve from your previous workout. It does not have to be a new record every time. You can accomplish this by adding more reps, adding more weight, reducing the rest period between exercises, increase the intensity of the workout (this means, do it in less time than before) or all of them combined. It is up to you and it depends on your overall fitness level.

So you can begin with combination of squats and chest presses. Performed back to back without rest. These are non competing muscle groups. What that means is they work different muscle groups and while you be tired from the squats, your chest muscles can perform the exercise. Then you can do rows combined with incline press and finish with inverted body rows combined with planks. For more advanced options you can perform body rows with legs on the ball or planks with arms on the ball, etc. Variations are endless and they depend on your fitness level.

Weight Loss Supplements For a Beautiful You

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

Losing weight can prove to be a real challenge. There are various weight loss programs available, but as much as possible you would go for something non-invasive and safe. There are certainly lots of weight loss supplements you can try, but with so many options, all promising miracle solutions, finding the one best suited to your needs can be confusing.

To erase your doubts and help you decide on the best product to use, do not forget to read the label and take particular attention to the ingredients that compose the product. This is very important; unfortunately, this is often overlooked by many. Even with proven weight loss supplements, it is still necessary to know more about the ingredients of the product. If you are shopping online for such supplements, the website carrying such products should be able to list down the items that compose the products it is selling. If none is listed, that could be an indication that the product may not be safe to use.

Another thing you should watch out for when looking for the right product is its ability to fight cravings. A good weight loss supplement should be able to control your appetite so you will not tend to over eat. Besides curbing your appetite, proven weight loss supplements have the ability to break down fat and convert it to energy.

There is an abundance of products that promise amazing results in a short time. If you want something that really works, though, you should look for a product that has the features of a good weight loss supplement - the ability to control cravings and the ability to break down fats. One such product is Hoodia Rush, a dietary supplement that contains twice the amount of the purest and the most powerful Hoodia Gordonii normally found in other products. Hoodia Rush is growing in popularity as one of the latest proven weight loss supplements to hit the market.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet, Different Than Other Diets

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

Reading about the Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet makes you wonder if they might not be on to something. The way the diet works is different than other fad diets that involve cutting out certain types of food like low carbohydrates, low fat or low calorie. Instead it uses calorie shifting foods that you would normally eat, increases the number of times you eat, and changes when you eat certain things for fast fat loss.

What is Calorie Shifting?

The way calorie shifting works involves tricking the fat hormones that are sent out by the brain. Every time you eat something, your brain sends out fat storing and fat burning hormones, depending on what the item is.

The idea is to send more fat burning than fat storing hormones, so that the body does not hold onto the fat for later use. If you keep confusing the metabolism, you will see fast fat loss, as much as 9 pounds in 11 days, that is the first weightloss principle of Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet.

How Does The Metabolism Control Weightloss?

This scientific weight control fact about the metabolism and how it works stems from our ancestry as cavemen, when there were famine periods between hunts. The body would store and hold onto fat for survival. The metabolism has not evolved from this self-defense tactic and doesn’t realize we can just run to the grocery store and get whatever we want.

On restrictive diets, weightloss can plateau when the metabolism thinks it is experiencing a famine period, and it will only burn what is taken in. Even on some of the popular low carbohydrate diets, it is advised to eat pizza for two days when your weight plateaus to get the metabolism going.

Why Do Some Weightloss Diets Leave You With No Energy?

The only problem with many of these restrictive weightloss diets is the metabolism goes back to only burning what you take in and many people complain about being tired and worn down, when it is mainly the metabolism storing up the energy for later.

By eating healthy, nutritious foods that are fat burning, the metabolism burns as much energy as you need. Many people on restrictive weightloss diets will regain the weight when they go back to eating normal foods.

What Is The Best Diet For Weightloss?

The best weight control diet allows you to eat the foods that you would normally eat, have in your refrigerator and cabinets. By timing when you eat certain foods, how many times a day you eat them, and balancing the types of food, your metabolism will burn what you take in and then some, because it knows you will be feeding it again shortly, instead of starving.

Prepackaged fat loss products and frozen dinners are not something you can live on the rest of your live. You need to understand the basics of natural weight control, and Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet uses the fundamental principles of controlling the metabolism with calorie shifting normal foods you eat every day.

Fat Burning Exercises

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

Fat burning exercises are the slow, aerobic, long duration types of exercise that involve most of the major muscle groups. Your body will burn a higher percentage of calories from fat with lower intensity cardio exercises.

Fat burning exercises include walking, jogging, running, elliptical exercise trainer workouts, cycling and swimming. The key factor to keep in mind is the more muscle groups you use, the more fat you’ll burn.

Different type of exercises will burn more sugar rather than burning fat. Sugar burning exercises involve brief spurts of movement followed by rest which results in more sugar that is used for fuel instead of fat.

Sugar burning exercises include sprinting, tennis, racquetball, basketball, and golf. While these are great sports that benefit your overall fitness condition, they are different type of exercises that will not burn as much fat like fat burning exercises will.

To burn fat effectively, exercise at a moderate pace for a longer period of time. The residual effect of this type of aerobic exercise gives you the most benefits.

These aerobic fat burning exercises increase your metabolism which means you’ll burn calories long after you exercise. People who exercise on a regular basis develop more fat burning enzymes than people who don’t exercise at all.

By doing just twenty minutes of fat burning exercises you get those fat burning enzymes working. So if you are just starting out, exercise for at least twenty minutes and work up from there as your fitness level improves. Try to set 3 days a week as your goal to workout and work up to 5 days as you become more fit.

Home treadmills and elliptical exercise trainers are perfect for fat burning exercises. These fitness machines will give you the slow, aerobic, long duration types of exercise that work best to burn fat.

They are the most popular pieces for home gyms because they allow you to stay fit in any weather condition. They are easy to use and cost efficient because quality fitness equipment will last for many years.

If you want to reduce body fat, eating properly will always help. But by combining it with fat burning exercises, it will give you the excellent results you are looking for.

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

Whether you want a rapid weight loss for good health, beauty, prom, a job or even to save your relationship, you need a fat loss program and a diet that works. Of all sources of information, I have found the “fat loss for idiots” amazingly efficient and reliable way to burn fat fast and get a flat tummy, well toned nice thighs, and a great shape.

Why does it work so well? Simply it is based a revolutionary diet to burn fat really fast!. Even when you eat 4 meals a day, you will discover how you can lose fat very quickly…as much as 9lbs in just 10 days. Your water intake of 8 liters per day is what you may need to figure out.

The calorie calculator provides you a fool proof way you can lose weight quickly. This diet plan is anchored on the Calorie Shifting Theory which randomly varies the calories found in your food and makes sure that this reduces over time.

The weight loss secret is based on the premise that the brain controls the fat burning hormones in our body. By having the right kinds of food, calories and timing, we can stimulate this natural process to achieve our goal of losing weight.

If you understand how to control your metabolism rate, you wont have to starve yourself just to become slimmer. Calorie shifting technique is based on the fact that the rate of the metabolism is affected by the historical information about the calorie content of your diet in the recent past. Your brain uses this information to predict the amount of energy needed by your body for energy.

Some popular methods like decreasing your calorie intake simply don’t work because your body quickly adjusts to it and then use up less calories…thus storing the rest that you wanted to get rid of. The calorie shifting method of losing weight however is a diet plan that varies the diet so randomly that the brain is unable to figure out the trend in the average amount of calories intake.

The automated calorie calculator saves you the trouble of manually trying to calculate calories from charts and tables. You begin to see results in less than 2 weeks..in fact most people who use this method lose up to 9lb in just 10 days. This is the secret to your getting that great shape you always dreamed about.
